Here is how it works:
As shown in the diagram below, calls come in from any wired or wireless phone (see 1) - such as from someone shopping at home or making a call from a cell phone. The calls travel as usual into the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), to be sent on to the recipient, which would be your company in this case.
From the PSTN, the calls are then sent to your PBX (see 2), to be routed by your auto attendant or ACD application, or they are sent to cResponse.
Calls routed to cResponse (see 3) are answered immediately by a professional, personable voice user interface. The interface interacts with your database (see 4), providing accurate real-time information to the caller.
Callers who require special attention can be easily transferred to a CSR (see 5).
